Sonam Kapoor is Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi Heroine, opposite Shahrukh

Apparently Sonam Kapoor has been confirmed to play the Main Lead Heroine opposite Shahrukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi to be directed by Aditya Chopra. It was rumoured earlier that Aditya Chopra was looking for a Fresh face to cast opposite SRk in the movie. It is also rumoured that SRK's role in the movie is that of an NRI aged around 40 based in the UK.

Sonam Kapoor who made her debut in bollywood with the movie Saawariya earlier this earlier is expected to play a young simple punjabi girl. The movie would be shot in Punjab, UK, Australia, Greece and shall hit the theatres in December 12th 2008. This could well be a rumor!
